Exhibitions: The engine driving economic growth and a step towards eliminating the need for oil

Coffee Revolution in the Economy The Deputy Minister of Public Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade (Semat) announced a growth of more than 50 percent in coffee exports in the first half of the year, emphasizing: Holding specialized exhibitions is a key strategy for economic growth and reducing dependence on oil revenues.

According to the public relations report of the Iran Mall International Exhibition and Conference Center, Ebrahim Sheikh, Deputy Minister of Public Industries of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade (Semat), explained the key role of holding exhibitions in the country’s economic growth and development on the sidelines of the opening of the third coffee exhibition held at the Iran Mall Exhibition Center.

He considered holding exhibitions as a prime opportunity to showcase the country’s capabilities and emphasized: Holding an exhibition can have a significant impact on the country’s economic growth and development and our need for oil budget.

The Deputy Minister of Public Industries of the Ministry of Public Industries, referring to the coffee industry’s position as one of Iran’s growing industries, noted: Naturally, holding this exhibition can be a good opportunity to showcase our country’s capabilities.

Stating that despite the lack of specific raw materials for this industry in the country in recent years, good exports have been achieved in the coffee sector, Sheikh said: In the first six months of this year, we have witnessed more than 50 percent growth in exports in the coffee industry.

He concluded by stating: Holding such exhibitions is a valuable opportunity to showcase capabilities, create a platform for dialogue, and develop cooperation between representatives of different countries.

This event will continue until November 11-14, 2025, with the aim of introducing the capacities of the country’s coffee industry and expanding business cooperation between domestic and international brands at the Iran Mall Exhibition Center.
