The Deputy Economic Officer of the Governor of Tehran, referring to the role of exhibitions in the prosperity of production and the national economy, said: Iran Mall is one of the most equipped exhibition centers in the country and Tehran’s international site, and can play a significant role in economic development and increasing trade interactions.
According to the public relations of Iran Mall International Exhibition and Conference Center, Dr. Heshmatollah Askari, Deputy Governor of Tehran for Economic Coordination Affairs, emphasized the importance of holding specialized exhibitions in the country’s economic development on the sidelines of the opening of the Third Iranian Coffee Conference and the Thirty-Fourth National Ophthalmology Congress at the Iran Mall Exhibition Center, stating: “Exhibitions are an unparalleled opportunity for direct communication between producers and consumers and play an effective role in marketing, introducing new products, and expanding trade interactions.” He added: “In Tehran, we witness specialized exhibitions in various fields almost every week, and fortunately, Iran Mall has the capacity to host these events.
Dr. Askari, referring to the government’s new powers in Transferring the license to hold exhibitions to the provinces, he said: “Now, the decision-making regarding the time, place and type of exhibitions is in the hands of the provinces, and this has facilitated the processes and increased the diversity of specialized exhibitions.” He continued by pointing out the capacities of the Iran Mall Exhibition and Convention Center and adding: “With its vast space, amenities, easy access, suitable parking and standard infrastructure, the Iran Mall complex is considered one of the best places to hold specialized exhibitions and conferences. He added: “We are seriously pursuing and introducing this center as Tehran’s international site so that it can play a more serious role in the country’s economy, along with the Tehran International Exhibition.” The Deputy Governor of Tehran for Economic Affairs also said about the situation of holding exhibitions after the recent developments in the region: “Despite intermittent conflicts and special conditions resulting from the 12-day war, the country’s exhibition calendar continues with minimal interruption. Fortunately, there has been no noticeable decrease in the number of visitors and public acceptance.” He concluded by emphasizing: “The growth in the number of exhibitions and the increase in the participation of companies and visitors in recent months is a sign of the dynamism of the economy and the improvement of the business environment in the country.” The third Iranian Coffee Conference, with the participation of foreign countries, is being held from November 10 to 13 at the Iran Mall International Exhibition and Conference Center. It could be a turning point in improving the level of trade relations between Iran and the countries present at the exhibition.
